How did you overcome the fear of intimacy in a relationship?

My girlfriend of 2 years has fear serious about privacy issues and he always suffoated our relationship. Several we had our hearts broken and trust in a past relationship but I am interested in the experience someone who has overcome so that a permanent relationship and how they did it without destroying the relationship or if she did.

Hello, I am this girlfriend! I was with my boyfriend for a year now and he had to put up with me constantly afraid, I know that I put to the test relationship, but you must remember that it is not out of spite. Without consciously knowing I test my partner to see if it will go or that I worth much. It is a good man and I love him, I feel like he is my soul mate. If you feel the same about this girl please Be patient, I come from the other side and feel that I can talk to my man now, and I'm not too concerned about sharing my feelings. If it worth it, encourage him to talk, it's OK to be afraid, but you love him and will not hurt him as it has already been hurt.Be quite honest with her even though she may not want to hear is what I found really useful. Coming from a relationship where he has been dishonest, it is refreshing to hear honesty open. Relationships work together, no relationship is perfect, but if you're willing to work together, it is very rewarding. It could not be used to feel happy or worthy if only patient. Bravo for admission there is a problem and want to solve it, I admire people like you who do anyhting for the person they love.
